These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the services provided by Farefuzz (“we”, “our”, “us”), a flight booking agency located in Fremont, California. By accessing or using our services, booking flights, and subscribing to our SMS notifications, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services.
1. General Terms
1.1 Services Provided: Farefuzz offers flight booking services, travel assistance, and related services. By booking a flight through us, you agree to comply with the airline and third-party service providers’ terms and conditions.
1.2 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use our services. If you are booking on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
1.3 Third-Party Providers: We serve as an intermediary between you and third-party providers (airlines, car rental companies, hotels, etc.). You agree that any booking made through us is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service providers.
2. Flight Changes
2.1 Voluntary Flight Changes
A voluntary flight change occurs when a passenger requests to modify their flight after booking.
Change Fees: Airlines typically charge a change fee for modifying a flight. The fee varies depending on the airline, ticket class, and timing of the change.
Fare Difference: If the new flight is more expensive, you will be responsible for paying the fare difference.
Time Limits: Airlines may impose time limits for voluntary changes, which typically range from 24 hours to several days before departure.
Fare Rules: The terms of your ticket (refundable or non-refundable) and the airline’s policies will govern voluntary changes.
2.2 Involuntary Flight Changes
An involuntary flight change occurs when the airline makes changes to your flight due to circumstances such as cancellations, delays, or schedule modifications.
Compensation: Under certain circumstances, you may be entitled to compensation, including meal vouchers, accommodation, or rebooking on another flight.
Rebooking: If your flight is changed involuntarily, we will assist in rebooking you on the next available flight or help you seek compensation.
Refund: If the flight change is significant (e.g., a cancellation), you may be entitled to a full refund, per the airline’s policy.
3. Cancellations
3.1 Voluntary Cancellations
Voluntary cancellations occur when you choose to cancel your flight after booking.
Refund Policies: Non-refundable tickets are generally not refundable, but certain exceptions may apply based on the airline’s policy, or if the flight is canceled by the airline.
Cancellation Fees: Airlines charge cancellation fees for voluntary cancellations, which vary based on the airline and the type of fare purchased.
Ticket Type: Refundable tickets may be eligible for a refund, while non-refundable tickets may only offer travel credit or voucher options, depending on the airline.
3.2 Involuntary Cancellations
An involuntary cancellation occurs when the airline cancels a flight due to reasons such as mechanical failure, weather, or other operational disruptions.
Full Refund: Involuntary cancellations generally qualify for a full refund, in accordance with the airline’s policy.
Rebooking: We will assist in rebooking your flight on the next available service. Airlines may also offer alternative transportation to your destination or compensation for the inconvenience.
Compensation: In cases of significant delay or cancellations, you may be entitled to additional compensation (e.g., meals, accommodation).
4. Baggage Information
4.1 Carry-On Baggage
Each airline has its own carry-on baggage policies, typically allowing one small bag such as a backpack or small suitcase onboard.
Size and Weight Limits: Carry-on baggage limits vary by airline. Please check the specific baggage policy of the airline when booking with Farefuzz.
Prohibited Items: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulates the types of items allowed in carry-on luggage. You are responsible for ensuring your carry-on complies with TSA regulations.
4.2 Checked Baggage
Checked baggage is typically stored in the airplane’s cargo hold.
Allowance and Fees: Airlines may allow one or two checked bags free of charge, but additional or overweight bags are subject to extra fees. Check the airline’s baggage policy for detailed allowances and fees.
Liability: Airlines are generally liable for lost, damaged, or delayed checked baggage, though the liability may be limited under the airline’s terms and conditions. Consider purchasing additional travel insurance for added coverage.
5. Payment Information
5.1 Payment Methods
Farefuzz accepts payment by various methods, including credit/debit cards, or other forms of electronic payment. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified.
5.2 Payment Authorization
By providing your payment details, you authorize Farefuzz to process your payment for the full cost of the flight booking, including any applicable taxes, fees, and service charges.
5.3 Payment Security
We use industry-standard security measures, such as encryption, to protect your payment information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted over the internet.
5.4 Currency
Payments will be processed in the currency specified during the booking process. All currency conversion fees, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.
6. VOID Information
6.1 Transaction Void
If you wish to cancel a booking shortly after making the payment (before the booking is confirmed by the airline), you may request a void of the transaction. A void is a cancellation of the payment transaction and may result in a full refund to the original payment method.
6.2 Timeframe
A transaction void request must be made within a specified timeframe (typically 24-48 hours) after payment. If the void request is made after the airline has processed the booking, it may not be possible to void the transaction, and normal cancellation policies will apply.
6.3 Refunds after Void
If a void request is successfully processed, you will receive a refund to your original payment method. If a void is not possible, cancellation and refund requests will be handled according to the airline’s cancellation policy.

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.Opt-In Method:

8. Refund Policy
8.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are subject to the airline’s policy. Non-refundable tickets generally do not qualify for a refund, but certain conditions may apply for refund eligibility. Farefuzz will assist in submitting refund requests to the airline but cannot guarantee the outcome.
8.2 Refund Processing
Refunds are processed by the airline, and the timeline for receiving a refund may vary. Typically, refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Agency Liability
Farefuzz acts as an intermediary between you and the airline or other third-party service providers. We are not liable for any issues related to flight changes, cancellations, delays, or service provider actions.
9.2 Indirect Damages
We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or emotional distress, arising from the use of our services or the services provided by third parties.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
10.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Alameda County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Alameda County for any necessary enforcement of arbitration awards.

Farefuzz reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
